Feedback and Complaints

The SCTS welcome your comments and suggestions based on your experience of our services or our website and you can:

• write to us directly
• complete the user survey
• or contact the main SCTS enquiry unit with your feedback.

Complaints

We know that we will not always get things right.  When that happens the best thing to do is raise the matter right away and see if the SCTS can resolve it. If that isn’t possible our complaints procedure  sets out how we will investigate and deal with your complaint and the timescales involved.
Other individuals and organisations are represented in court and below we list the contact details for those, not part of the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, if you wish to make a complaint.

Judicial Complaints

Decisions made by members of the ASN Tribunal in exercise of their duties are only subject to review or appeal.  If you have a complaint about the conduct of individual First-tier Tribunal for Scotland Health and Education members which is not related to a decision taken by them in exercise of their duties, there is a Judicial Complaints Procedure which must be followed.

Solicitors

Solicitors are instructed by their clients and have no association with the ASN Tribunal or the SCTS.  To complain about a solicitor you can contact the senior partner of the firm that acted for you, or you can contact the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission.
